P108 CEEFAX 108 Thu 7 Feb 21:55/22   EYEWITNESSES REPORT  BLASTS IN WHITEHALL Eyewitnesses of the mortar bomb attack on 10 Downing Street have spoken of seeing missiles fired from a transit van in Whitehall. A building worker, Jim Bishop, said that a section of the van's roof lifted off and three rockets were fired from inside before the whole van exploded. Dr Andy Ashworth, an ex-naval doctor, heard three consecutive blasts followed by a smaller separate bang, and saw a white van ablaze with open back doors.
