P165 CEEFAX 165 Fri 12 Nov 16:10/11       WORLD  SRI LANKAN AIR FORCE ATTACKS JAFFNA Sri Lankan air force planes have attacked Tamil Tiger positions in the Jaffna peninsula area. Military authorities said it was an attempt to prevent more separatists from reaching a military complex which they over-ran yesterday. But a BBC correspondent says the area under aerial attack is densely populated and can only be an act of retaliation for yesterday's attack.
