P164 CEEFAX 164 Fri 19 Nov 16:23/32 WORLD MORE TALKS ON HONG KONG'S FUTURE The sixteenth round of talks between Britain and China on the future of Hong Kong have begun in the Chinese capital of Beijing. The talks are the first since Hong Kong Governor Chris Patten briefed John Major about the negotiations. Both sides have spoken of their hopes for faster progress. A BBC correspondent says there are signs that China is prepared to concede minor points concerning the arrangements for district elections and the lowering of the voting age.
