P159 CEEFAX 159 Fri 3 Dec 16:22/07       WORLD  GUNFIRE ERUPTS IN MALAWI CAPITAL At least 16 people have been killed in clashes between soldiers and paramilitary forces in the Malawi capital, Lilongwe, witnesses said. The army was fighting the Young Pioneers allied to ailing President Kamuzu Banda's ruling Malawi Congress Party, they said. Soldiers attacked several buildings belonging to the Young Pioneers.
