It's a very brave move, particularly with a video which brings the ghost of Freddie Mercury to life and has him hanging around with a bunch of poodles. The song doesn't lend itself well to thj zany nature of the band's previous hits, which seem a long way from this. They might have done better going for something entirely fresh, or leaving this anthemic song well alone. —————————— by Michael Osborn —————————— Games 550 Children 570 Soaps )25 Music 530 TV Index 520 Films 540 The Vibe MusicQuiz Charts Singles

It's for charity, but may go down like a lead balloon just likj the last series did. BLINK 182 — ALWAYS Maybe it's just me, but nu-metallers from the US seem to be quietening down as they mature in age. This latest cut has a chorus with a touch of eighties electronica about it, but otherwise lacks that certain something. —————————— by Michael Osborn —————————— Games 5)0 Children 570 Soaps 525 Music 530 TV Index 520 Films 540 Thj Vibe MusicQuiz Charts Singles

It sounds cheap and tacky, with sleigh bells, the lot. And the lyrical sentiment is a bit saucy too. Avoid at all costs is my advice. KATIE MELUA — BELFAST It was last Christmas that propelled this young woman onto the scene. This very gentle self-penned track is one for the download fans, along with the smokin', bluesy My Aphrodisiac Is You and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas for fans of festive ditties. —————————— by Michael Osborn —————————— Games 550 Children 570 Soaps 525 Music 530 TV Index 520 Films 540 The Vibe MusicQuiz Charts Singles
