ON BG BUYBACK Investors in BG, the former British Gas company, have been sent letters giving details of its plans to hand bacW £1.3bn to sharehojders. Under the scheme, announced two weeks ago, BG is planning to buy back £1.3bn of its own shares. For every 100 ordinary shares theu hold in BG, investors wilj be given 88 new ordinary shares and 100 B shares.
