Following suspension of its shares on the Frankfurt bourse the company said it was confident of a rescue package being backed by creditors and shareholders. Invitations to the EGM have been sent before approval of the DM3.2bn (£1.2bn) refinancing package by its creditors 'to ensure the planned restructuring measures can be carried as quickly as possible'. P206 CEEFAX 206 Thu 13 Jan 21:11/22 2/2 EURO DISNEY: DEBT "SOLD BY MIDLAND" Midland Bank is reported to have been offloading Euro Disney debt at a heavily discounted 60p per pound. The report, carried by Wall Street Journal Europe, said Midland had sold FFr 130m (£14.7m) of debt at this level. It said other banks, both French and non-French, were seeking buyers for Euro Disney debt.
