P396 CEEFAX 396 Fri 26 Feb 21:06/46 1/5 TRAINER INTERVIEW: DAVID NICHOLSON Peajade misses Cheltenham and goes for the Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter where if it is heavy, he would have a good chance. Shamana is in good form and I'm happy with her. She will run in the Grand Annual Chase at the Festival. Scrutineer runs at Kempton this Saturday with a tongue strap. Depending on how he runs, he could go to Cheltenham, maybe to the Triumph or the two mile novice race He's a good class horse. P396 CEEFAX 396 Fri 26 Feb 21:12/11 2/5 TRAINER INTERVIEW: DAVID NICHOLSON Travelling Wrong will hopefully run in the 4-mile National Hunt Chase but the Grand Military up before Cheltenham is a possibility. I would like him to go to the four- miler, where John Durkan would ride, as he appears to stay very well. A good jumper, he's still improving. Tug Of Gold will try for a repeat win in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup Handicap Chase. He's going the right way and we're very hopeful indeed. He will be ridden by Tom Jenks. P396 CEEFAX 396 Fri 26 Feb 21:17/54 3/5 TRAINER INTERVIEW: DAVID NICHOLSON Viking Flagship's target is the Grand Annual, dependent on his handicap mark. He should've won all three chases he's run in. He's improving and will stay at the two-mile trip for the time being. Waterloo Boy runs in the Queen Mother again and no doubt he'll have another titanic battle with Katabatic, who'll be favourite. @ @ @ Ours is a good, consistent horse and if he runs the same race as at Newbury I could see him winning at Cheltenham. I'm pleased with him. Source: William HILL Organization Ltd Totes/NRs Ante—Post Timeform Ruling
P396 CEEFAX 396 Fri 26 Feb 21:13/12 4/5 TRAINER INTERVIEW: DAVID NICHOLSON Winter Squall runs at Kempton on Saturday and if all goes according to plan next stop will be the 2m Supreme Novices Hurdle. He's got plenty of ability and scope and the form with Giventime looks good. There's no question he'll make a chaser in the future. Wonder Man is in very good form and reopposes Sybillin in the Arkle. That defeat was the first proper race he's had in three years. He'll come on for the run and as Fitz' says, "another race, another day." It could be interesting. Information supplied by William HILL Totes/NRs Ante—Post Timeform Ruling
P396 CEEFAX 396 Fri 26 Feb 21:11/13 5/5 TRAINER INTERVIEW: DAVID NICHOLSON Gambling Royal has a tendon strain and misses the remainder of the season so we've no National runner. Carobee is also out for the rest of the campaign but is fine, back on the horsewalker and will return to the racetrack next season. On the subject of jockeys, David Nicholson was fulsome in his praise of stable rider Richard Dunwoody. "He's in good form and we'll keep him going. He's definitely one of the best jockeys I've ever seen." Interview by Michael Grenham Source:William HILL Organiuation Ltd Totes/NRs Ante—Post Timeform Ruling
