P208 CEEFAX 208 Fri 5 Mar 21:11/52    BAE FACES  £50m BILL  British Aerospace faces a bill for upwards of £50m if the EC orders it to repay government "sweeteners". The EC is expected to announce next week that it is calling on the UK government to recoup £44.4m worth of aid granted at the time of BAe's acquisition of Rover in 1988. Unnamed EC officials were quoted as saying BAe would be obliged to pay interest backdated to August 1990.
