The mole cricket spends most of its life burrowing underground. The latest example, found in Luton, Beds, is only the fourth to be spotted in 25 years. The brown-coloured cricket is over three inches long. Excited entomologists will not say exactly where the creature was found. They hope to find a colony in the town.
