Chess afficionados in Humberside think they've found a possible contender for the crown currently held by 16 year old Gata Kamsky! At the 27th Annual Chess Congress staged at Humberside Polytechnic, over the weekend of September 21-23, the Open section was won by 14 year old Matthew Turner of Bottesford who gained 4½ points out of his 5 games.
