P312 CEEFAX 312 Fri 26 Nov 16:22/34   FOOTBALL: MABBUTT PLEADS  FOR FASHANU  Skipper Gary Mabbutt has told Tottenham he wants no action taken against John Fashanu over his fractured cheekbone.   Mabbutt was injured in an aerial collision with Fashanu on Wednesday and surgeons have inserted a metal plate in the side of his face. "The fact that he wants the matter dropped shows the kind of person he is," said Ardiles.   Fashanu and his club Wimbledon have accused Spurs of sensationalising the matter by describing Mabbutt's injuries as a fractured skull.  Golf Football Butcher R/Union
