John Webber trains the winner and he was taking a drop in class here. Taking charge three out, he ran on well to finish 2½l clear from five rivals (on a 27-runner card). Webber said: "I don't think there is any jar in the ground, but after a winner I'm not going to complain. "I think the lack of runners is more due to high entry fees for races at the top tracks." This was a welcome success for the gelding's connections as they've endured two false starts recently. Elsworth commented: "The last two times he has been due to race I've had to pull him out on the day because of niggling injuries. "His owners even had a box booked when he was declared for Sandown." With this win under his belt, Givus A Buck goes for the Ritz Club Chase Source:William HILL Organization Ltd KelsoRevw Font Revw SouthRevw Eve Dog

This win in the Radcot Hurdle was bloodless however as he defeated sole rival Sir Crusty with ease. He runs next in the Bet With The Tote Novice Chase Final at the end of Cheltenham week at Uttoxeter. Conditional jockey Jimmy McCarthy stepped in for the ride here but the injured Martin Lynch should be fit to return next time out.
