Under a well judged ride from Keith Rutter, David Thom's charge quickened in fine style with two furlongs to run and ran on well. At the line Captian Marmalade had come two lengths clear of the fast finishing Absalom's Pillar. The runner-up made an eye-catching debut, making up plenty of ground in the latter stages and he looks sure to improve for this run. The winning distance was 2 lengths and this was Sirtelimar's fifth success at the Midlands course. Source:William HILL Organization Ltd CourseDet Newb Revw KelsoRevw Font Revw
