David McLeod, 22, was attending a stabbing incident in Acocks Green, Birmingham, when he was attacked last night. Two 15-year-old boys who were knifed before the officer arrived, were also detained in hospital. The youths were not seriously hurt. The body should have gone by ambulance or hearse to Cardiff for a special post-mortem examination, but the hospital at Wrexham, Clwyd, hired a private courier firm. A stores worker discovered the body when the bottom of the box broke.
