The River Lee is producing some big barbel at Kings Weir - fish up to nearly 10lbs reported. more > Diversions 610 Recipe 614 PARK AVENUE THE SOAP OPERA p126 ITV Bridge Chess Knitting Reviews

The Aire is in reasonable form for catches of small fish and there have been some notable quality dace catches at Saltaire. Sport is patchy on the Wharfe particularly at Ullescelf. The Ure is the most consistent river in Yorks with plenty of fish through the system. On the canal front the New Junction is excellent for roach with 6-8lb catches needed to win most sections. Nearby Stainforth Canal is also improving. more > Diversions 610 Recipe 614 Bridge Chess Knitting Reviews

Low rivers combined with high tides from the North Sea have caused major problems on the Thurne and Bure. The Bure is affected as far up as Horning and the Thurne up to Martham. Thousands of small fish have perished and a few hundred large fish have also died due to the salinity of the water. Elsewhere the Yare is in top form and this weekend's Yare Championship should be a classic match. Meanwhile the Broads should produce excellent pike sport as the colder nights knock the colour out of the water. more > Diversions 610 Bridge 616 Bridge Chess Knitting Reviews

Big barbel to over 10lbs in weight are being taken regularly on the Severn although generally this river badly needs a flush through to clear the weed. more > Diversions 610 Recipe 614 Bridge Chess Knitting Reviews
